Tenancy Support Worker

We are looking for two people to join our team as Tenancy Support Workers.
Each post is for 37 hours a week from Monday to Friday.
You will need to be self driven with excellent time management skills.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are presently providing this support to our clients by telephone. However, the role in normal times is a face to face role within the client’s own home, which will give you the opportunity to meet a number of people and provide housing related support to develop and sustain a person’s capacity to live independently in their own accommodation.
Duties will include:
○ Providing housing advice
○ Accurately recording information about the clients you support
○ Helping people complete benefit applications
○ Budgeting support
○ Signposting clients to other agencies when necessary
We are passionate about ending homelessness and work closely with a number of partners such as Pembrokeshire County Council and Welsh Government to help achieve this aim.
Previous knowledge of the benefit system would be advantageous and knowledge of the Welsh language is desirable, but not essential.
Own care essential, with agreed mileage rate of 44p per mile paid.
